A workshop is an informative or instructional class focused on a particular subject. We organized this 3 hour duration, four day Workshop for children of ages 10 and up to take them deep into the subject of Salat (The Muslim Prayers)

Objective: To teach fiqh (understanding of Prayers)

Outline of the Course:  We incorporated “water colour painting” as our activity theme in all our worksheets to increase engagement and participation.  The kids were made to do supererogatory (nafl) two unit prayer at the beginning of each session. There were question and answer sessions, story telling time and the participants were invited to present some topics.

Visual Tools: Presentations,  pictures  and worksheets  were used to convey the concepts in this Workshop.
